About the Instructor: David Schumann attended Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Lyme Ct. He studied watercolor under Suzanne Seigel and David Dewey. He paints in many media, but watercolor is one of his favorites. “You can paint directly with watercolor, but to truly bring out the beauty of watercolor you must understand the techniques of watercolor, the different pigments, and how they react to paper and layer. Unlike many other mediums, watercolor has three players: pigment, water, and paper. You must use all three to be successful.”
